Return Policy

At E-Controls.net, we want to give our customers peace of mind when ordering any of the products we offer. If you order a part by mistake, whether it be the incorrect range, output, or other characteristic of the device, it is returnable for credit, provided the part has not been unboxed or installed.

BEFORE IT SHIPS: We can CANCEL and REFUND an order before it ships. Once the item has shipped, it becomes a RETURN transaction. Returns and Repairs require an RMA (Return Material Authorization), that we must file with the manufacturer on your behalf. Please contact us via email or telephone, with the information below. For parts that need to be returned that were ordered from E-Controls.net, you must contact us to process this RMA information prior to sending anything back.

RETURN / EXCHANGES: Most parts can be returned for credit, less a re-stocking fee that applies. Usually, this re-stock fee will be 20-25% of the original purchase price (varies by manufacturer). There are some ‘special order’ or non-standard parts that may not be returned, so please don’t hesitate to ask if a certain device qualifies as such. If you’ve received a part that you ordered incorrectly, you will be responsible for the shipping costs associated with sending back to the manufacturer. If you received a part that the manufacturer shipped to you incorrectly there is no re-stocking fee, and we will still need to process an RMA.

REPAIRS: Our manufacturers are able repair their parts, depending on the warranty and whether the product can be fixed. In some cases, an evaluation fee may apply to determine if a repair is possible. If you have part that fails in the field and is under warranty, an advance replacement may be supplied by the manufacturer. These “advance replacement” policies vary by manufacturer and status so please let us know what your situation is so we can assist in coming up with the best possible solution. If the part is out of warranty, a manufacturer may still be able to repair it for a cost determined by them.

WARRANTIES: Most of the manufacturers we carry back their products with warranties in the length of as little as 1 to as many as 7 years. Many of the parts you will find in this web store have datasheet links to them; oftentimes this literature will clearly state the warranty information and manufacturers production statement(s).
